Her characterizations run the gamut from box woman to juvinille delinquent to New Age Lady, with much of the material in a feminist vein. The show stars Lily Tomlin obviously. (120 minutes, 1991)

The Educators: A verbose and overlong, sarcastic investigation of partisan idealism and hypocrisy in current Germany. A set of boisterous youthful liberals (Briihl, Erceg) see themelves as 21st-century Robin Hoods, which gives them a reprieve to crack into the houses of the internet-heeled Problems surface while Erceg's lady friend (Jentsch) partakes in one of their adventures. (137 minutes, 2004)

Onionhead: A messy film with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The film tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. Man of Iron: Somber account of Germi, a railroad architect, whose life takes a catastrophic turn, influencing his entire family. Cast includes Pietro Germi, Luisa Della Noce, Sylva Kascina, and Carla Giuffre. (116 minutes, 1956)

The Singing: Nun: Sappy comicbook stuff based on an actual Belgian nun whose dedication is split between religious work and making hit records. Cast includes Debbie Reynolds, Ricardo Montalban, Greer Garson, Agnes Moorehead, Chad Everett, Katharine Ross, Ed Sullivan, Juanita Moore, and Tom Drake. (98 minutes, 1966)

Iron Eagle: This is a comic magazine film in regards to an eighteen-year-old who commandeers an F sixteen aircraft and soars to the Middle East (playing rock music on his WaIkman all the way) on a quest to recover his dad, who's been taken hostage. Full of jingoistic superlatives, awkward morals, and individuals who die and miraculously return to life. Cast includes Louis Gossett, Jr., Jason Gedrick, David Suchet, Tim Thomerson, Larry G. Scott, Caroline Lagerfelt, and Jerry Levine. (119 minutes, 1986) .

Believe in me: Still another 1970s film that all about drug problems. Working gal Bisset finds herself completely dependant on speed while living in the East Village section of New York City.
