The Prophecy: Seminarian Koteas relinquishes the temple throughout his own ordination to become a homicide cop. Eventually he's examining why Stoltz has killed an eyeless hermaphrodite with the physiological profile of an aborted fetus. There's either too much mumbo or too much jumbo in this oddball terror picture. Give it perverse points, albeit, for managing to work in a Korean Battle subplot and for projecting Walken as the life saver Gabriel. Cast includes Christopher Walken, Elias Koteas, Virginia Madsen, Eric Stoltz, Viggo Mortensen, and Amanda Plummer. (93 minutes, 1995)

Ice Age: In this animation comedy we find ourselves viewing the blight of the animals as the ice age is descending upon them. An unlikely quartet of animals, Manny the wooly mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the saber toothed tiger, and Scrat the prehistoric squirrel, must find their way to warmer places before the ice age ends their lives. They battle the element, and devious attacks form other animals to try and survive the ice age.

The Kingdom: This four hour film is essentially 4 Danish Television shows strung together, set and shot at the genuine Nationwide State Health center in Copenhagen. It is known as "The Empire'. As essentially every critic has pointed out, this is ER meets Double Summits, with crackpot physicians, supernatural goings-on, sex, black humor, etc. A should for those who imagine they've seen everything. Cast includes Ernst-Hugo Jaregard, Kirsten Rolffes, Ghita Norby, Soren Pilmark, Jens Okking, Otto Brandenburg, Baard Owe, and Solbjorg Hojfeldt. (271 minutes, 1994)

My Stepmother is an Alien: Luscious Basinger, who knows nothing of romance or sex, weds widowed scientist Aykroyd; he desires to settle into domesticity, while her mind is only on sparing her world from devastation. Someway, Jimmy Durante clones get performed into this lowbrow, high-idea comedy. Cast includes Dan Aykroyd, Kim Basinger, Jon Lovitz, Alyson Hannigan, and Joseph Maher. (108 minutes, 1988)

Slaves: This is a bizarre cast in revisionist tirade in reference to Kentucky servant Davis sitting up for his rights. It may have signified something in the '60s, however now it's just humorous, with Boyd correctly humiliated. Cast includes Stephen Boyd, Dionne Warwick, Ossie Davis, Marilyn Clark, Gale Sondergaard, Shepperd Strudwick, and David Huddleston. (110 minutes, 1969)

Big Trouble in Little China: Buddy Blowhard trucker Russell finds him self knee large in Chinatown fascinate and gibberish while a buddy's fianc' is abducted right in front of his eyes. High tech Indiana Jones fashion venture has bulky tongue-in-cheek demeanor, however everything else in reference to it is bulky, too containing Russell's John Wayne swagger. Excellent electric music score by controller Carpenter. Cast includes Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun, James Hong, Champ Wong, and Kate Burton. (99 minutes, 1986)

Down by Law: The attempt by author-director Jarmusch is captivating, entertaining, and ever so tiny. It gives a peek at 3 losers who end up in prison together-and then make a crack for it. Costars Lurie and Delays additionally grant music on the soundtrack. Cast includes Tom Delays, John Lurie, Roberto Benigni, Ellen Barkin, Billie Neal, Rockets Redglare, Vemel Bagneris, and Nicoletta Braschi. (78 minutes, 1948)

Dracula Prince of Darkness: Continuation to Terror OF DRACULA doesn't measure up. The vampirism Tally Lee is revitalized by a servant and wreaks fear on a group of tourists in an isolated castle. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Barbara Shelley, Andrew Keir, and Suzan Farmer. (90 minutes, 1966)

Bram Stoker's Dracula: Count Dracula is on a mission to find the one woman he truly ever loved. HE wants to be eternally reunited with her. He leaves Transylvania and goes to London to see if a woman who looks exactly like his love of centuries ago is in fact the woman he searches for.
